UNDER CONSTRUCTION Eclectic Art from forgotten objects Hartsville SC
Cohesive Eclecticism is achieved when the artist's voice is clear and honest.
I hope you’ll sense that clarity in my art.

I hope you’ll sense that clarity in my art.

Gwenn gravitates towards utilizing discarded, forgotten, or unwanted objects and gives them a second life as art. Experimentation is her comfort zone—she rarely repeats the same idea twice—so every piece she creates has its own quirky, one‑of‑a‑kind spirit.
New mediums are always calling her name, which keeps her work fresh and full of surprises.
The combination of salvaged materials and new artistic explorations means none of her pieces are ever exactly the same. That diversity is what makes her pieces so expressive and unique. Even as materials and themes vary wildly, her artistic voice remains the constant: warm, handcrafted, layered, sentimental, and rooted in rescued materials that carry their own history.
She’s lived in Hartsville for nine years with her husband, Michael, after swapping the cold Northeast for sunshine and a slower pace of life. Warm weather drew them to Hartsville, but the community and friendships they’ve built are what made it home.
Gwenn’s love of travel comes from growing up in a family eager to see the world. Those early adventures shaped the way she notices and captures small moments. That same curiosity fuels her art today, blending global experiences, observation, and a sense of wonder into pieces that feel storied and full of heart.
Her use of cabinet doors and found wooden pieces began on a whim—she simply wanted something more interesting than a standard frame. That spontaneous spark became a creative staple and remains a signature part of her process.
Gwenn also transforms sentimental items into meaningful, personalized pieces. If you have something special tucked away that deserves a new life—whether for yourself or as a gift—she’s always happy to explore the possibilities with you.

I create two main types of work: photography and original, one‑of‑a‑kind art pieces.
My original artwork is created from salvaged, discarded, or sentimental items — cabinet doors, rescued wood, forgotten objects, and pieces with history. I reimagine them into something new, often blending painting, crafting, upcycling, and mixed‑media techniques.
My photography includes landscapes, statues, city scenes, and the little moments I capture while exploring new places. Soon, you’ll be able to browse the photographs that are available for purchase and choose the format that fits your space.
This site is still growing, so more artwork and purchasing options will be added soon. If you have any questions in the meantime, you can reach me through the Contact Gwenn section of this website. I typically respond within 1–2 business days.
I originally sold my work under the name Gwenn Again Crafts. As my art grew, I realized the word “Crafts” no longer fit everything I do — photography, painting, upcycling, salvaging, reimagining, and creating pieces from whatever crosses my path.
When I began this new chapter, I knew I wanted to keep “Gwenn Again,” but I needed a word that reflected the full range of what I make. I chose “Creations” because that’s truly what I do: I create.
You may still see an occasional watermark from my earlier name on older photos, but everything you see here is part of my current work under Gwenn Again Creations.
The name “Gwenn Again” has followed me for most of my life, and it still makes me smile.
It first showed up when I was in grade school. I didn’t live close to my friends, so weekends meant lots of phone calls. My friend Cindy’s older brother would answer their house phone again and again, eventually calling up the stairs, “It’s Gwenn again!” I thought it was hilarious at the time — probably less so for him — but the phrase stuck with me.
Years later, when I began creating art from discarded, forgotten, or left‑behind pieces, the word “Again” took on a new meaning. These items were finding life again — transformed into something different, something beautiful, something with a new story.
And on a practical level, the name simply works. It’s memorable, a little sing‑songy, and easy for people to recall when they see my tent at a fair, visit my website, or pick up a business card.
Yes, I do. If you have something sentimental and would like to explore how it might be transformed into a meaningful piece of art, you’re welcome to reach out through the Contact Gwenn section of this website.
When you write, try to describe the item(s) as clearly as you can. That helps me start imagining possibilities right away and lets me respond with ideas from the very first conversation.
A few examples of past commissions:
– Turning shirts into pillows
– Transforming jeans into a pocketbook
– Taking slightly damaged hand-made or nostalgic items from your loved one and using it in an art piece (for example, doilies/hankies/ties/scarfs make great accent pieces).
Our first consultation is free. After that, I charge an hourly rate for any additional conversations, along with the cost of the work itself. Rates vary depending on what we decide to create, and we’ll go over all of that during the initial consultation.
I’m based in South Carolina. If you’re not comfortable shipping your item, we can talk about other options that might still work.
Truly, we’re only limited by our imagination. If you have something special tucked away, reach out through the Contact Gwenn section and we can explore what it might become.
Yes — every piece I create is one‑of‑a‑kind. Even when I happen to salvage multiples of the same item, the way each one is reimagined will always be different. The materials I pair with them, the story they carry, and the way they come together all vary from piece to piece.
Most salvaged items come with their own history and imperfections, which is part of what makes them special. “Salvaged” often means they weren’t as loved as they could have been in their former life, and I try to change that — giving them a chance to be beautiful and appreciated again.
Because many of the items I find are true “one‑offs,” you’re getting the only version of that piece that exists in the world. There isn’t another one tucked away somewhere, and I can’t recreate it exactly, even if I tried.
To me, this isn’t a limitation — it’s the joy of what I do. I love creating pieces that are unique, personal, and full of character. I’ve never been a cookie‑cutter kind of girl. I think beauty lives in the differences, the quirks, and the stories each piece carries.
No — every piece I create is one‑of‑a‑kind. Even when I happen to salvage multiples of the same item, the way each one is reimagined will always be different. The materials I pair with them, the story they carry, and the way they come together all vary from piece to piece.
Working with salvaged items means I rarely find the exact same object twice. And even if I do, I won’t have the same embellishments, textures, or materials at my disposal again. Because of this, I can’t keep an inventory of identical items — each creation is truly its own.
When you purchase a Gwenn Again Creations art piece, you’re receiving the only version that exists in the world. It can’t be duplicated, not even by me.
For my original art pieces: No — each piece is created from salvaged items, and the materials I work with come in the sizes they come in. I can’t make a rescued item larger or smaller, so the dimensions of each finished piece are fixed and unique.
For my photography: The available sizes will be shown during checkout. Options vary depending on the medium you choose (canvas, acrylic, metal, vinyl, framed print, etc.), and you’ll be able to select from the sizes supported by that format.
If you have questions about the size of a specific art piece or photograph, please reach out through the Contact Gwenn section of this website. I typically respond within 1–2 business days.
I only offer refunds for items that arrive damaged during shipping. The item will need to be returned to me before a refund can be processed, and return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Once I receive the damaged piece, I’ll refund both the purchase price and the original shipping cost.
Please also file a damage report with the shipping carrier. All shipped items are insured, and once the carrier confirms the damage, the insurance will cover the refund.
Because each piece is handcrafted and often made from one‑of‑a‑kind materials, I don’t offer refunds for reasons such as “I no longer like this item.” If you have any questions before purchasing, feel free to reach out through the Contact Gwenn section of this website. I’m happy to help you feel confident that the piece is right for you. I typically respond within 1–2 business days.
The short answer is: anywhere I can find them. I keep my eyes and ears open all the time. Some pieces come from places like Goodwill or Habitat for Humanity. Others are found along the roadside, waiting for a second chance. And sometimes friends or family pass along old cabinet doors, furniture, or other items when they’re redecorating.
I’m always looking for pieces with potential — something with character, history, or a spark that makes me want to reimagine it. When I come across something interesting, I’ll ask whether it’s a donation or if the owner is hoping for a little something toward their next “honey‑do” project.
If you’re redecorating, clearing out a garage or storage unit, or simply have an item that no longer serves you, I’d love to hear about it. You can reach me through the Contact Gwenn section of this website. Let me know what you have and whether you’re offering it as a donation or hoping for a small payment. I typically respond within 1–2 business days, and we can talk through the details from there.
You can see my work right here on this website, where I share and sell both my photography and my original art pieces.
I also participate in local fairs and events, and you can often find me in my tent with a selection of pieces available for purchase.
I don’t have a brick‑and‑mortar shop, but this space is growing, and I may have some exciting updates to share soon.
If you’d like to stay connected, you can join my email list. I send a weekly note that shares what I’m currently working on and where you’ll be able to find me and my art in the coming weeks.
You can also follow along on social media by clicking the icons for the platforms you use.

Sometimes — it depends on the piece and the type of repair needed. Because each artwork is unique and made from salvaged materials, there isn’t a one‑size‑fits‑all answer.
If something you purchased from me has been damaged, please reach out through the Contact Gwenn section of this website. Try to describe the piece and the damage as clearly as you can so I can get a sense of what might be possible. I typically respond within 1–2 business days.
I do my best to stand by every piece I create, but the ability to repair it will depend on the materials, the construction, and the nature of the damage.
No, I don’t currently ship internationally. Because many of my pieces are heavy, large, or made from delicate salvaged materials, they aren’t well‑suited for international shipping.
If this ever changes, I’ll update my website to reflect it. I’m always learning and adjusting as my work grows, so the door isn’t closed forever — just for now.
Most pieces come with a Certificate of Authenticity that includes any special care instructions. If you no longer have it or just want a quick overview, here are the general guidelines for caring for my work.
Many of my pieces include delicate elements such as silk flowers, painted surfaces, glued components (I typically use a combination of heavy‑duty glue and glue sticks for durability), and other materials that should be handled gently. For everyday cleaning, a dry dusting works best. You can also use gentle air — a can of compressed air or the cool, low setting of a blow dryer — to remove dust from harder‑to‑reach areas.
Please do not use water or harsh cleaning methods.
– No dishwashers
– No hot water or soap
– No hosing down
Unless a piece specifically states otherwise, moisture can damage both the materials and the adhesives.
My artwork is intended for indoor use only. The only exception is my serving trays, which can be used outdoors but should never be left outdoors. They can be wiped with a damp cloth but should not be submerged in water or placed in the dishwasher.
For photography and any artwork that includes photos, try to avoid direct sunlight and moisture. This helps preserve the crispness, color, and detail for years to come.
If you’re unsure how to care for a specific piece, you can reach me through the Contact Gwenn section of this website. Please describe the item as clearly as you can, and I’ll get back to you within 1–2 business days.
It depends on what you ordered.
Original Art Pieces: When you purchase a handcrafted piece from this website, you’ll receive an immediate confirmation email. Please allow about 2 business days for a follow‑up email letting you know your piece is being prepared for shipment. I’m a one‑person studio, so I take care to package each piece safely. Once it’s ready, I’ll send another email letting you know it will ship the next day. When it ships, you’ll receive a tracking number and an estimated delivery date.
Photography: If you ordered a photograph (framed, acrylic, canvas, metal, etc.), you’ll see an estimated delivery date at checkout. You’ll also receive email updates as your order moves through production and shipping, including a tracking number once it’s on its way.
If you have any questions at any point, you can reach me through the Contact Gwenn section of this website. I typically respond within 1–2 business days.
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the size and weight of the piece and the address it’s being shipped to. Because my artwork varies so much in shape, materials, and dimensions, this ensures you only pay the actual shipping cost for your specific item.
Whether you’re ordering an original art piece from this website or a Gwenn‑original photograph (framed, acrylic, canvas, metal, etc.), you’ll see the shipping cost before you complete your purchase.
If you have any questions at any point, you can reach me through the Contact Gwenn section of this website. I typically respond within 1–2 business days.
For my art pieces, there are rare times when I may use a stock photo as part of the overall aesthetic. If a stock image is used, it will always be clearly noted in the item description and on the piece’s Certificate of Authenticity.
If a photograph is a focal point of the artwork, it will always be one of mine. Stock images are only ever used as supporting elements — never the heart of the piece.
All of the photographs available for purchase — framed, acrylic, canvas, metal, or otherwise — are images I personally captured. I love to travel, and my photography comes from the places I’ve explored, the beauty I’ve witnessed, and the small moments that felt big. Those are the images I offer, so the beauty I’ve captured can bring beauty into your world.
For my art pieces: Since I package and ship these pieces myself, I’m happy to include simple gift wrapping and a handwritten note upon request. This usually does not incur any additional cost. Please keep in mind that the wrapping options I keep on hand are standard themes (Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Wedding, etc.). If you need something more specific that requires a special purchase, additional charges may apply.
For photography orders: Framed prints, acrylics, canvases, metals, and other photo formats are printed and shipped by a third‑party fulfillment partner. Because of this, I can’t guarantee gift wrapping or the ability to include a personal note. During checkout, please review the available shipping options — if gift services are offered, they will appear there.
If you have questions about gift wrapping or gift notes for a particular item, please reach out through the Contact Gwenn section of this website before placing your order. I typically respond within 1–2 business days.
My inspiration almost always begins with the salvaged item itself. Every rescued piece has its own history, texture, and personality, and many of them “speak” to me the moment I find them. Sometimes I know right away what they want to become; other times they sit with me for a while until the right idea reveals itself.
Living with the piece is the next part of the process. I keep my rescued items in my studio, surrounded by the embellishments, textures, and materials I’ve collected over time. I’ll pair things together, rearrange them, take photos, and revisit the combinations over the next day or two. When something resonates — when the elements feel like they belong together — that’s when the real building begins.
My photography also inspires many of my pieces. Sometimes I’ll come across a photograph I’ve taken and feel that it deserves a special home. When that happens, I look for a salvaged item that can hold it in a meaningful way, and I build the artwork around that connection.
And sometimes, inspiration comes from pure play. There are days when I don’t have a plan at all — I simply start arranging what’s in front of me and see where it leads. Those spontaneous pieces often become some of my favorites, because they grow out of curiosity, intuition, and joy.
My work is a blend of rescued materials, photography, experimentation, and the quiet conversations I have with each piece. Every item has its own story, and my inspiration comes from discovering how to give that story a new life.
Not at this time. I’m a one‑woman studio and currently operate on a smaller scale, so gift cards aren’t something I offer right now. As my business grows, I may revisit this option in the future.
If you’d like to give one of my pieces as a gift, you’re welcome to purchase an item and have it shipped directly to the recipient. I also offer simple gift wrapping and handwritten notes for my handcrafted art pieces. You can learn more about that in the Do you offer gift wrapping or gift notes? FAQ
Local pickup is available for my handcrafted art pieces. While I don’t have a brick‑and‑mortar storefront, I’m happy to arrange a safe, in‑person pickup for local customers. For everyone’s safety and privacy, I do not give out my home address. Instead, the Hartsville Police Department allows community members to use their lobby for safe business transactions, and that is where pickups will take place.
When checking out, please select the Local Pickup option. A small pickup fee will be added to cover packaging materials based on the size and weight of your piece. After your purchase is complete, please reach out through the Contact Gwenn section of this website so we can schedule a day and time for your pickup.
Please note: Local pickup is not available for photography orders (framed prints, acrylics, canvases, metals, etc.). These items are printed and shipped directly by my third‑party fulfillment partner, so they must be delivered through their shipping system.
I typically respond within 1–2 business days, and I look forward to meeting you.
I love my customers and will make sure any email addresses you give me
will not be shared to a third party.
